“The eternal God is your refuge,
And underneath are the everlasting arms;
He will thrust out the enemy from before you,
And will say, ‘Destroy’” (Duet. 33:27)!
It is absolutely true that we are in a great spiritual warfare, but it is also true that followers of Jesus Christ should expect God to do wonderful things for us! Your enemy is His enemy, and God is fighting for you to show His great victory over him!
Even in the midst of trials, expect God to do wonderful things on your behalf!
God is a righteous God, a holy God, and He requires that we meet His righteousness – but He has made a way for that through the offering of His Son, our Savior Redeemer, Jesus Christ! If you are His, then you have His righteousness!
Now that we are in Christ, He teaches us that “He is working all things together for our good” (Rom. 8:28). He loved us enough to die for us in our sin, and He loves us enough to continue to lavish His grace upon us all the way till the very end.
God is a God of miracles. The battle may be long at times, but do not give up before you see the victory. The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever, and ever (Psalm 136:1)!
“The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad” (Psalm 126:3)!
“… looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Heb. 12:2).
