Mark teaches from Daniel 9, comparing Israel’s captivity in Babylon to the church’s current captivity under worldliness and judgment. He urges believers to pray like Daniel, confessing sin and seeking God’s mercy, while recognizing that God’s answer is not to restore the old order but to reveal His end-time plan. Mark emphasizes a coming purging, refining, and sanctifying work that will prepare Christ’s bride before His return.
