We should stay informed but not live from one headline to another. The world’s news can overwhelm our faith.
Information about all things great and small, good and bad, has never been so loud and threatening, too. Yes, the world is going down, but we (God’s people) are growing up!
He is still working all things together for our good…” (Rom. 8:28).
God’s ability to save remains unchanged, and His plan will be fulfilled even during the world’s most difficult times. He is always with us and ultimately grants eternal victory, making Him worthy of our trust.
Our job is simply to yield to Him. He’ll do all the “heavy lifting.” We can walk in His peace.
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3)
