In this broadcast (originally broadcast on God’s Learning Channel in 2009), Mark Case warns that many churches have drifted into worldliness and “religion” instead of living by the Word through the Spirit. Using Joel 2, Ezekiel 44, Jeremiah 7, and 2 Timothy 3–4, he calls God’s people to repentance—turning back to God with sincere hearts and “preaching the Word” rather than chasing relevance, entertainment, or numbers. He emphasizes that Scripture must lead us to Jesus Himself, because real life comes from abiding in Christ, not from religious form.
