We all need an Abraham Moment when we listen to God’s voice, believe, and obey (Genesis 12:4; 15:6).
We all need a Peter-and-John moment when, after hearing His command, we drop our nets and follow Him (Matthew 4:18-22).
We all need a Moses Moment when we step aside from our routine to see the “burning bush” from which God is speaking to us (Exodus 3:1-4).
We all need an Ezra Moment when we return to the word of God in truth and in practice. When we see ourselves so clearly against the word of God that we weep at the hearing of it, repent and turn to the Lord afresh (Nehemiah 8:1-3, 9:1-3).
We should long for an Isaiah Moment when we see the Lord and answer, “Send me” (Isaiah 6:1-8).
We should long for an Apostle John Moment when, “in the Spirit,” we see Jesus as He really is, hear His voice, and carry His message (John 1:10).
