The countless forms of Christian worship that we have made do not represent what the Bible teaches. It is what we have done, not what He has done. Yet, God, in mercy, and for His name’s sake, has honored many of our attempts at building His house. How thankful we should be for that! But to identify the mess that we’ve made as “God’s mosaic,” or anything of the sort, is not in agreement with what the Word of God teaches.
He has given us His instructions for how we are to assemble in His name and what we are supposed to do in that assembly, including leadership roles (I Cor. 12-14; Eph. 4:7-16).
It is obvious that the vast majority of those who claim to know the Lord are not really interested. Either they don’t see the importance of what He taught us, or they don’t believe it.
Only God can change that, and I believe that He will and that we are on the verge of seeing it happen. Hallelujah!
