Political favor is not the same as spiritual revival. God may sovereignly use Christian-friendly government, but biblical revivals are marked most by deep repentance, holiness, and souls brought into His kingdom.
Many historians point to the Spanish-American War in 1898 as the time when America began to play a significant role in God’s plan, dominating the world. However, among nations, Israel is the center of His plans and will remain the center when America is no more. Outside Israel, the center of His plan is to finish His work, the Church, all around the world.
